My use case: jamming live with vocal, synth and drum machine at same time + recording + feeding vocal (or instrument signals) back into synth for processing. If possible, I would really appreciate input on whether the setup can work as I intend to + your thoughts on which interface to choose. For comparison, a new PRO FS is $849 USD from Thomann in my country. Prices in my country are $137 USD (new from Thomann) for the Behringer and I can get the BFP in perfect condition only used occasionally for half a year at $535 USD, maybe less if I can haggle. The cheap option is Behringer Uphoria UMC404HD, and the more expensive mid range option is RME Babyface Pro. ![]() I am now down to two options that do not really compare but both sort out my need’ish in terms of connectivity. I started out thinking of the MOTU M4, but I have been scared away by the sketchy driver performance on Windows 10. So, I am in the process of finding my first audio interface and hope that some of you may be able to help and offer input. Here comes a bit of a novel, but I thought someone else might also benefit from the details. ![]()
