![]() ![]() Hard to beat, and compared to Silverfast, a bargain. Vuescan works great and works for every scanner known to man (or thereabouts). IMO vuescan > silverfast by a large margin ![]() I tried Silverfast and quickly got pissed of because of the worthless user interface. ![]() For color negatives, I let the software do the inverting and removing of the orange mask, and then I open the files in ACR for final color management and contrast. For B&W I scan as a positive do all the editing myself in PS, which yields very good results (but a bit of work of course). I use the Epson software and it works fine. Anyway, I think you'll receive more information and get better response in the Postprocessing en Printing Board. It's not the easiest and has a learning curve, but the scan results are worth it. The Epson will be used primarily for scanning 6x7 color negative and B&W film from portrait shoots. I'm looking for scanner software for my Epson V700. Need good scanner software for Epson V700. ![]()
